Seas the Day Sailing School is an ASA-certified school based on the south shore of Oahu. We offer hands-on sailing courses for all levels, with experienced instructors and a flexible schedule. Classes can start any day of the week, so it’s easy to fit sailing into your plans. Courses are open to individuals, families, and kids 10 and up. Military discounts are available.

Location
The Area
Seas the Day Sailing School is located on the south shore of Oahu, sailing out of Ala Moana near downtown Honolulu. The area offers consistently calm mornings and reliable afternoon breeze, giving students a chance to experience different conditions in a single day.
Getting There
Honolulu International Airport is the main airport on the island and the best place to fly into. From there, it's about a 15-minute drive to Seas the Day Sailing School. You can grab a taxi, Uber, or Lyft from the airport. If you're renting a car head east on Nimitz Highway, which becomes Ala Moana Boulevard, and follow it into town. Once you're on Ala Moana Boulevard, look for the turnoff near Ward Avenue to access the Kewalo Basin Harbor area. The school is located at Pier E, Slip F18. There’s parking nearby if you’re driving yourself, and the harbor is easy to spot with its rows of sailboats and ocean views.
Best Time to Go
The best time to sail in Honolulu is from April through October when the breeze settles into a reliable afternoon pattern and the water stays calm in the mornings. Conditions during these months are consistent and comfortable, which makes it easier for students to focus and get the most out of their time on the water.
