Our fleet consists of late-model Beneteau boats, ideal for training and charter, providing students with quality vessels they can feel confident on. Whether you're taking a basic ASA course or preparing for more advanced passage-making adventures to islands like Kauai and Hawaii Island, our location offers a practical and scenic setting for your sailing education.
Getting There
From Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL), the easiest way to reach Honolulu Sailing is by taxi, ride-hailing services like Uber or Lyft, or a pre-arranged shuttle. The drive typically takes about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Kewalo Basin Harbor, look for the marina facilities near Ala Moana Boulevard; our boats and office are located within this harbor area. If you're renting a car, ample parking is available nearby, and detailed directions can be provided. We recommend confirming your arrival plans in advance to ensure a smooth transition to our sailing school.
Best Time to Go
The best time to sail in Honolulu is during the spring and fall months, from April to June and September to November, when the weather is warm, the seas are calm, and the islands are vibrant with local events.
