Sydney Airport (SYD) is the international gateway for reaching the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia in Darling Point. From the airport, a taxi or ride hailing service will take approximately 25-40 minutes to reach us. Alternatively, you can take a train from the airport to Edgecliff Station, which is a short taxi ride or a pleasant walk from the club.
The prime sailing season on Sydney Harbour is typically from September to April. These months bring warmer weather, reliable sea breezes, particularly the summer nor'easters, and generally sunny conditions, all of which are highly favorable for enjoyable and effective RYA sail training.
