Aussie Sailing Co has been running sailing courses on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast for over 30 years. The school offers ASA-certified training on a range of well-maintained boats, with small group sizes and a strong focus on practical experience. Instructors bring deep local knowledge and a relaxed, hands-on approach to teaching both beginners and more advanced students.

The school is based in Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast, where the marina opens directly onto calm coastal waters. Conditions here are well suited for both learning the basics and refining skills on longer coastal routes.
Most visitors fly into Brisbane Airport, which is the closest major international gateway. From there, the drive north to Mooloolaba takes about an hour and a half by rental car or ride-share. The school is located near the marina along Parkyn Parade, within easy reach of the main waterfront area.
The best time to sail on the Sunshine Coast is during the Australian autumn and spring. From April to June and again from September to November, the weather is mild and the winds are steady enough for consistent on-water instruction without rough seas.
