It is a truly memorable setting for your sailing education.
The location
Learning to sail in Venice offers an unparalleled experience, navigating the unique waterways of the lagoon and venturing into the Adriatic Sea. The environment provides a fascinating blend of sheltered water practice and open sea sailing, all with the backdrop of one of the world's most iconic cities.
How to get there
To reach us in Venice, international visitors will arrive at Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE). From the airport, you can take a water taxi directly to locations within the city, or an Alilaguna water bus to various stops. Land taxis and buses can take you to Piazzale Roma, from where you can walk or take a vaporetto (water bus) to our specific address in Santa Croce. Treviso Airport (TSF) also serves Venice, though it is further away and requires a bus journey to Venice.
Best time to go
The best periods for sailing in the Venetian Lagoon and the northern Adriatic are typically late spring (May to June) and early autumn (September to early October). During these times, the weather is usually pleasant, with moderate temperatures and more predictable winds, avoiding the peak summer heat and crowds, which makes for better learning conditions.
