Getting There
To reach Ying Yang Sailing Club, begin by flying into Beijing Capital International Airport, which is the nearest major international airport. From Beijing, you can take a high-speed train from Beijing North Railway Station to Qinhuangdao Railway Station; the journey typically takes around 2 to 3 hours. Upon arriving in Qinhuangdao, you can rent a car or use ride-hailing services like Didi to reach the Beidaihe New District, where the sailing club is located. The drive from the train station to the club takes approximately 30 minutes. If you prefer, there are also private shuttle services available that can be arranged in advance for a comfortable transfer directly to the sailing school.
Best Time to Go
The ideal time to enjoy sailing in Beidaihe is from late spring to early autumn, with July and August offering the warmest weather and most stable sea conditions. Early mornings and late afternoons tend to have calmer winds, making them perfect for a relaxed day on the water.
