Getting There
Upon arriving in Qingdao, most visitors opt to fly into Qingdao Liuting International Airport, which is approximately a 30-40 minute drive from the Qingdao T&Z Yacht Club. From the airport, you can easily book a taxi or ride-hailing service such as Didi to reach the club located on Qingyuan Road in Ao Fan Ji Di Bai Li Guang Chang Shang Quan. If you prefer to travel by train, Qingdao Railway Station connects with major cities across China; from there, you can take a short taxi or ride-hailing service directly to the sailing club. For those renting a car, major car rental companies operate at the airport and train stations, offering convenient options to drive to the club at your own pace. Once in Qingdao, following the signs towards the Olympic Sailing Center will lead you to the location, which is situated in a prominent sailing and leisure area along the coast.
Best Time to Go
The best time to sail in Qingdao is from late spring to early autumn, with warm temperatures and relatively stable weather conditions that make for enjoyable days on the water. Late May through September offers the most favorable sailing conditions in the area.
