Qingdao Kaijie Sailing Club is situated in Qingdao, a city renowned as the birthplace of sailing in China and often called the sailing capital of the country. Established in December 2017, the club is run by retired Chinese sailing athletes who are passionate about sharing their experience and love for the sport. The club offers a variety of sailing programs using different types of boats, including keel sailboats and small OP sailboats, aiming to introduce more people to sailing and promote maritime knowledge. With a focus on safety, skill development, and fostering a pioneering spirit, the club provides a relaxed environment for both beginners and enthusiasts to enjoy sailing in Qingdao’s rich waters.
