Getting There
To reach Dalian Yunshan Sailing Club, start by flying into Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport, the city’s main international gateway. From the airport, you can rent a car or use ride-hailing services like Didi to take approximately 30-40 minutes directly to the club located on Xiaoping Island in the High-Tech Park area of Dalian. If you prefer train travel, arrive via high-speed rail at Dalian Railway Station, which offers convenient connections from major Chinese cities. From the station, a taxi or ride-hailing service will take around 20-30 minutes to reach the sailing club. Once in Dalian, driving or a taxi is the most practical way to access the club, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free journey to enjoy your sailing experience.
Best Time to Go
The best time to sail around Xiaoping Island in Dalian is from late spring to early autumn, particularly between May and September, when the weather is warm and the waters are calm. During these months, conditions are ideal for both beginners and experienced sailors to enjoy smooth sailing and explore the scenic coast.
