About the school
Having guided sailors since 1998, we at Adriatic Nautical Academy (ANA) offer RYA training from our base in Jezera on Murter Island. You will learn on well equipped yachts like our Salona 45 or Hanse 400E. We're proud of our long experience in helping people develop their sailing skills in this beautiful part of Croatia.
The location
Jezera on Murter Island provides our academy with a wonderfully calm and sheltered bay, perfect for initial training and building confidence. Beyond the bay, you have immediate access to the diverse waters of the Kornati islands and the broader Dalmatian coast, offering superb real world practice.
How to get there
Split Airport (SPU) is the most convenient international airport, located about 90km from our base in Jezera. The most direct way to reach us is by car, a journey of roughly 75 minutes via the coastal road and the bridge at Tisno. Car rentals and taxis are available at Split Airport.
Best time to go
The sailing conditions around Jezera are generally at their best from late spring to early autumn, typically between May and September. This period offers warm weather and reliable winds. For those wanting to avoid the busiest times, May, June, or September provide calm seas and good breezes with fewer crowds.
