Getting There

To reach Chariot Adventures in Bellingham, start by flying into Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), which is approximately a two-hour drive from Bellingham. From the airport, you can rent a car or arrange for a ride-hailing service such as Uber or Lyft to take you north along Interstate 5 directly to Bellingham. Once in Bellingham, head to 718 Coho Way, where our sailing school is located. If you prefer train travel, Amtrak's Cascades service runs from Seattle to Bellingham, offering a comfortable and scenic alternative; from the station, a taxi or ride-share can bring you directly to our location. We recommend renting a car or booking a ride in advance for the most convenient and flexible travel experience.

Best Time to Go

The best time to sail in the San Juan Islands is from late spring through early fall, with July and August offering the warmest weather and calmest seas. This period provides ideal conditions for exploring the islands, wildlife viewing, and enjoying the natural beauty of the area.
