Gulf Coast Sailing & Cruising School is conveniently located at Burnt Store Marina in Charlotte Harbor, Florida. If you're flying in from afar, the nearest major airport is Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers, approximately a 30-minute drive away. Upon arrival, rental cars and ride-hailing services like Uber and Lyft are readily available to take you directly to our location. From the airport, simply follow the signs to the exit, and you can choose your preferred transportation method to reach Burnt Store Marina, where our office and fleet are based. Once you arrive, you'll be welcomed into a beautiful, well-equipped marina setting ideal for your sailing training adventure.
The ideal time to enjoy sailing in Charlotte Harbor is during the cooler months from late fall through early spring, when the weather is pleasantly warm and the winds are steady enough for comfortable cruising.
