Students can easily walk to local restaurants, shops, and beaches, creating a relaxed environment ideal for learning. Our waters encompass Little Sabine Bay, the surrounding sounds and bays of the Intracoastal Waterway, and the Gulf of Mexico, providing a diverse setting for developing a wide range of sailing skills. The proximity of these bodies of water allows for comprehensive training while still returning to the marina at day's end, maximizing on-the-water practice and instruction.
Getting There
To reach Emerald Coast Yachts from afar, start by flying into Pensacola International Airport (PNS), a major hub with connections across the country. From the airport, you can rent a car or arrange a ride-hailing service like Uber or Lyft for a convenient 20-minute drive to 715 Pensacola Beach Boulevard in Gulf Breeze. Once you arrive, follow signs to Pensacola Beach and look for local landmarks to help navigate to the marina. If you prefer public transportation, taxis and ride-share services are your best options for a hassle-free trip directly to the sailing school.
Best Time to Go
The best time to sail around Pensacola Beach is from late spring through early fall, when the weather is warm and the waters are calm. Summer months, especially June through August, offer ideal conditions for both beginners and experienced sailors to enjoy the area’s scenic waters.
