Students have the option to stay on the resort in comfortable cottages, allowing for an immersive sailing experience with easy access to daily classes, experienced instructors, and fellow sailors from around the world.

Getting There

To reach American Sailing Academy in Key Largo, start by flying into Miami International Airport (MIA) or Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), both about an hour’s drive from Key Largo. From the airport, rent a car or arrange a ride-hailing service like Uber or Lyft to the school located at A, Trade Winds Plaza, Suite 922 in Key Largo. Once in Key Largo, follow local directions to the Trade Winds Plaza, which is conveniently situated near the main highway.
