The marina’s central location provides convenient parking and proximity to vibrant neighborhoods, restaurants, and parks, making it simple to combine your sailing lessons with other activities in the city. Our fleet of modern boats and experienced instructors ensure a comprehensive and engaging introduction to sailing right in the heart of the bay.

Getting There

From San Francisco International Airport (SFO), the easiest way to reach Spinnaker Sailing is to take a rideshare service or taxi directly to 40 Pier in the South Beach Harbor area. The drive typically takes about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. If you prefer public transportation, you can take BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) from the airport to the Embarcadero Station, then transfer to a local Muni Metro light rail or bus heading toward South Beach. Once you arrive near the marina, follow signs to the South Beach Harbor, where Spinnaker Sailing is located just a short walk from the docks. Rental cars are also available at the airport if you wish to drive yourself, with parking options nearby at the marina.
