From LAX, you can rent a car or book a ride-hailing service for the approximately 2-hour drive north along US-101 freeway directly to Santa Barbara. If you prefer public transportation, you can take a train from Los Angeles Union Station via Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner route, which offers a scenic trip along the coast and drops you off at Santa Barbara Station, about a 10-minute drive from the school. Once in Santa Barbara, rental cars and ride-hailing services are readily available to bring you to 133 Harbor Way, where the Santa Barbara Sailing Center is located. Whether you arrive by plane, train, or car, the journey to the sailing center is straightforward and scenic, setting you up for an excellent sailing adventure.
