From here, students can easily reach key sailing spots such as The Slot, Olympic Circle, and the central bay, making it an ideal starting point for both beginners and experienced sailors looking to refine their skills. Getting There
Upon arriving in the San Francisco Bay Area, your easiest route is to fly into San Francisco International Airport (SFO), a major hub with numerous domestic and international flights. From the airport, you can rent a car or use ride-hailing services like Uber or Lyft for a convenient 20-30 minute drive to Emery Cove Yacht Harbor in Emeryville. If you prefer public transportation, you can take BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) from SFO to the MacArthur Station, then transfer to local transit or a short taxi ride to the marina.
