Getting There

From Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), simply follow the signs to ground transportation and choose a ride-hailing service like Uber or Lyft for a convenient 45-minute drive to Newport Beach. If you prefer renting a car, numerous rental agencies are available at the airport, and the drive is straightforward via the I-405 South freeway. Once in Newport Beach, head towards the Balboa Peninsula area. Look for the marina’s signage and follow local directions to our location at Newport Beach, where our staff will greet you for your sailing adventure. If arriving by train, take Amtrak or Metrolink to the Irvine or Santa Ana stations, then arrange for a taxi or ride-hailing service to reach Newport Beach.

Best Time to Go

The best time to sail in Newport Beach is during late spring and early fall when the weather is warm and the seas are calm, making for comfortable and enjoyable days on the water. Summer weekends are popular, but weekdays in these shoulder seasons tend to be quieter and just as pleasant.
