Welcome to Sunsea Yachting, where we provide RYA sailing courses from Marinturk Gocek Village Port in Fethiye. Whether you're looking to start with a Competent Crew course or advance with Day Skipper training, we offer hands on instruction for all levels. Our location on Turkey's beautiful Turquoise Coast provides a wonderful environment to develop your sailing skills while enjoying the stunning Mediterranean scenery.
The location
Gocek's Marinturk Village Port is an excellent place to learn sailing, as it's situated in a sheltered bay known for its calm waters, providing a reassuring start for new sailors. The easy access to numerous scenic anchorages and the generally gentle conditions of the Turquoise Coast make for enjoyable and effective practical training sessions.
How to get there
To reach us at Marinturk Gocek Village Port, international travellers should aim for Dalaman International Airport (DLM), which is conveniently located just 22 km away. From Dalaman, you can easily arrange a taxi or a pre-booked transfer directly to the marina. Car rentals are also available at the airport if you prefer to drive yourself.
Best time to go
Sailing from Gocek is particularly rewarding between May and October. Throughout this period, the Mediterranean climate ensures warm waters, reliable breezes, and generally calm seas, which are ideal for both learning and for exploring the many beautiful bays and islands along the Turkish coast.
