If you are flying to join us at Nikiana Harbour, Aktion National Airport (PVK) is the closest option, just 29 kilometers away. For more international flight choices, Athens International Airport (ATH) is a possibility, though it is about 357 kilometers away, requiring an onward journey by car or bus of approximately 4 hours to Lefkada.
Best Time to Go
The best period for sailing here extends from May to October, when you can expect warm, settled weather and gentle winds ideal for learning. While July and August are popular, the shoulder months of May, June, September, and October often provide a more peaceful experience on the water with equally good conditions.
