Vlicho Bay on Lefkada provides an exceptionally sheltered and calm environment, making it a very reassuring place to learn the fundamentals of sailing. The Ionian Sea's typically gentle conditions and warm waters are ideal for beginners, allowing for a comfortable and enjoyable learning experience as you explore nearby coves and harbours.
For international arrivals, Aktion National Airport (PVK) is the closest to us in Vlicho, Lefkada, being only about 25 kilometers away. Another option is flying into Athens (ATH) and then driving, which is a scenic journey of about 3 to 4 hours. From Aktion, taxis or pre-booked transfers are the most common ways to reach us.
The months from May to October offer the best conditions for sailing in the Ionian. You will find warm weather, generally mild to moderate winds, and calm seas, which are perfect for learning to sail and enjoying the beautiful islands.
