The area's conditions are typically favorable for instruction, allowing students to build skills and confidence while exploring the beautiful Greek islands and coastline.
To reach Vounaki Marina in Paleros, the most direct international airport is Aktion National Airport (PVK), which is about 25 kilometers away. While Athens International Airport (ATH) is another option, it involves a drive of 3 to 4 hours. From Aktion, you can arrange a transfer or taxi to the marina.
We recommend sailing in the Ionian Sea from May through to October. During these late spring to early autumn months, the weather is warm, the seas are generally calm, and you can expect mild to moderate winds, all contributing to ideal conditions for sailing instruction and enjoyment.
