The Zhai Mo International Yacht Club's Beijing training center is situated at Fangshan Qinglong Lake Water Amusement Park, just 37 kilometers from Tiananmen Square. The lake spans 6,000 mu and offers clear, beautiful waters, making it an ideal spot for sailing activities. As the largest and most accessible water resource close to Beijing’s city center, it provides a relaxed environment for both aspiring sailors and seasoned enthusiasts to learn and enjoy maritime sports.

The Area
Located at Fangshan Qinglong Lake Water Amusement Park, our Beijing training center offers access to a sizable, clean, and well-maintained body of water just 37 kilometers from Tiananmen Square. The lake's surface spans approximately 6,000 mu, providing ample space for practical sailing instruction and hands-on experience. Its proximity to the city makes it an ideal setting for learners to develop their sailing skills in a safe and controlled environment while enjoying the natural beauty of the area.
Getting There
To reach the Zhai Mo International Yacht Club in Fangshan District, Beijing, travelers can start by flying into Beijing Capital International Airport or Beijing Daxing International Airport, both well-connected major airports offering numerous domestic and international flights. From the airport, you can rent a car or use ride-hailing services like Didi to directly travel to the school’s location. The drive typically takes around 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on traffic. If you prefer public transportation, you can take the high-speed train or subway to Beijing South Railway Station and then transfer to a taxi or ride-hailing service for the approximately 50-kilometer journey to Weigezhuang Road in Fangshan District. Once you arrive in the district, follow local signs or GPS guidance to the Beijing Water Amusement Park area near Qinglong Lake, where the school is situated.
Best Time to Go
The best time to sail at Fangshan Qinglong Lake is from late spring to early autumn, typically between May and September. During these months, the weather is warm and stable, making for enjoyable sailing conditions.
