Located at the heart of Qingdao’s sailing scene, often called China’s Sailing Capital, the club offers high-quality services and security facilities, and has received recognition as a five Gold Anchor Marina. The school’s experienced instructors, each with over 20 years of sailing and teaching expertise, provide courses on a variety of vessels such as Optimist dinghies, J/Boats, catamarans, super yachts, and motorboats, combining skill-building with enjoyment.

To reach Sunac Yacht Club, travelers arriving by air can fly into Qingdao Liuting International Airport, which is approximately a 50-minute drive away. From the airport, you can rent a car or arrange a ride-hailing service to the club located at No. 988 Xinghai Bay Road on the West Coast of Qingdao. If you prefer train travel, Qingdao Railway Station is well-connected to major Chinese cities; from there, you can take a taxi or ride-hailing service directly to the yacht club, which is situated along Xinghai Bay Road. Once in Qingdao, using ride-hailing apps or a rental car will offer the most convenient way to reach the club and enjoy your sailing experience.
The best time to sail in Qingdao’s West Coast area is from late spring through early autumn, with July and August offering warm temperatures and steady conditions. During this period, the weather is generally mild and conducive to sailing adventures along China’s coastline.
