The Area

Getting There

To reach Hanyuan HiFan Sailing School, travelers should first fly into Shanghai Pudong International Airport or Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, both of which are major international gateways in the region. From Shanghai, you can rent a car or arrange a private transfer for the approximately 2 to 3-hour drive northwest to the Jiangsu Province area. If you prefer train travel, take a high-speed train from Shanghai to Suzhou Railway Station; from there, you can hire a taxi or ride-hailing service to the school’s location at the Suzhou Hanyuan Yacht Resort in Wuzhong District. Once at the resort, clear signage and local staff can assist you in reaching the sailing school easily.

Best Time to Go

The best time to sail in Jiangsu Province is during the late spring and early autumn months, from late April to early June and September to October, when the weather is mild and the winds are steady, making for enjoyable sailing experiences.
