To reach Fan Hai Hui Sailing Club, travelers should first fly into Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport, a major hub with numerous international and domestic flights. From the airport, you can rent a car or use ride-hailing services like Didi to reach Dapeng District, where the club is located. The journey typically takes around 1.5 hours, depending on traffic. If you prefer train travel, you can take a high-speed train from Guangzhou or Hong Kong to Shenzhen North Railway Station, then transfer to a taxi or ride-hailing service for the approximately 50-minute drive to Sevenstar Bay in Dapeng District. Once in the area, follow local signs or navigation apps to arrive directly at the sailing club’s location.
The best time to sail in Shenzhen’s Dapeng District is from late March to early June, when the weather is warm and the sea conditions are calm. Late September through November also offers excellent sailing opportunities with mild temperatures and stable winds.
