Cloud Lake Water Sport Center is situated in the park 1903, an artificial lake in Kunming City. The lake is the largest artificial city lake in China with nearly Class I water quality, an average depth of 1.4 meters, and clear, bottomless waters. The Area
Cloud Lake Water Sport Center is situated on Haihong Road in Xishan District, Kunming City, within the park 1903, an expansive artificial lake with excellent water quality. The lake offers a stable, clear, and relatively shallow environment, making it ideal for learning to sail. With sufficient water depth and wide visibility, it provides a safe setting for both beginners and experienced sailors to practice and improve their skills. The facility is equipped with a variety of sailing vessels, including OP sailboats, large sailboats, paddle canoes, and support boats, supporting comprehensive sailing training and certification.
Getting There
To reach Cloud Lake Water Sports Center, start by flying into Kunming Changshui International Airport, the main gateway to the city. From the airport, you can rent a car or use ride-hailing services like Didi to travel approximately 30 minutes to Haihong Road in Xishan District, where the school is located. If you prefer train travel, Kunming Railway Station connects to major cities across China; from there, a taxi or ride-sharing service is recommended for the final leg. Once in Kunming, simply navigate to Haihong Road, and the school will be nearby. We recommend arranging transportation in advance for a convenient and comfortable journey to the water sports center.
