To reach Baqi Sailing Club, start by flying into Shanghai Pudong International Airport, which is the nearest major international hub. From the airport, you can rent a car or take a ride-hailing service directly to the school located at 77 You'an St, Wuzhong Qu, Suzhou Shi. The drive typically takes around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic. Alternatively, you can take a high-speed train from Shanghai Hongqiao or Pudong Railway Stations to Suzhou Railway Station; from there, a taxi or ride-hailing service can bring you to the club in approximately 30 minutes. If arriving by train, ensure you book your tickets in advance for a smooth journey. Once in Suzhou, follow local signage or GPS directions to the marina near JinJi Hu, where the club is situated, and enjoy a scenic drive to your destination.
The best time to sail in Suzhou is from late spring to early autumn, with warm temperatures and generally steady breezes making for enjoyable days on the water. Late May through September offers the most consistent conditions for sailing adventures on Jinji Lake.
