Getting There

To reach Bluenose Sailing School, start by flying into Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), which is approximately a 1.5-hour drive from Portsmouth, Rhode Island. From the airport, you can rent a car or arrange for a ride-hailing service such as Uber or Lyft to take you directly to our location at New England Safe Harbor Marina. If you prefer train travel, you can take an Amtrak train from Boston’s South Station to the Kingston Station in Rhode Island; from there, a short taxi or ride-hailing service will get you to the marina. Once in Portsmouth, follow local signs to Alexander Road, where our school is situated within the marina complex. We recommend planning your transportation in advance to ensure a smooth journey to start your sailing adventure with us.
