Situated on Saipan in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, the school is based just a mile from Smiling Cove Marina, giving students easy access to rich sailing environments in Tanapag Lagoon and the Philippine Sea. The locale blends clear waters and island scenery, making it ideal for focused, enjoyable learning.
Students arriving from outside the region typically fly into Saipan International Airport. From there, renting a car or taking a ride-share service directly to Smiling Cove Marina is the most straightforward option—it's just a 10‑minute drive through Garapan. The air-conditioned classroom is about a mile inland, with boats moored steps away at the marina.
Sailing out of Saipan, the prime season runs from December through June when winds are steady and conditions remain calm. During this period instructors find consistent wind patterns that complement practical training, while avoiding the heavier weather seen later in the year.
