At True North Yachting in Limassol, we offer RYA courses like Competent Crew and Day Skipper, providing a great way to learn to sail in the beautiful Mediterranean. The location
Limassol's location on the Mediterranean provides clear waters and generally reliable winds, which are very helpful when you are learning to handle a sailboat. The area along Amathountos Avenue gives straightforward access to the sea, offering students a chance to practice in open water with lovely coastal scenery.
How to get there
When planning your journey to our school in Pareklisia, Limassol, Larnaca International Airport (LCA) is the nearest major airport, situated about 55 km away. Another option is Paphos International Airport (PFO), which is approximately 70 km from us. From either airport, you can hire a car or use a taxi or pre-booked transfer service for the drive to Limassol.
Best time to go
The period between May and October is generally the most pleasant for sailing in Limassol. During these months, the Mediterranean typically provides warm waters, consistent gentle breezes, and clear skies, all contributing to excellent conditions for your sailing courses and for exploring the beautiful Cypriot coast.
