About the school

At Grenada Bluewater Sailing, we provide practical RYA courses for all abilities, right through to Yachtmaster, from our base in beautiful Grenada. We believe in straightforward, real world training in the fantastic Caribbean conditions. Whether you are learning the basics, building miles, or just want to enjoy the water, we offer a friendly and seamanship focused environment.

The location

Our location at Port Louis Marina in St. George's offers an excellent starting point, with easy access to open Caribbean waters. The sailing conditions here are generally consistent, with steady breezes that are ideal for learning and building confidence without being overwhelming for newer sailors.

How to get there

To join us in Grenada, you will fly into Maurice Bishop International Airport (GND). From the airport, it's a convenient and short drive of about 15 minutes to Port Louis Marina in St. George's where we are based. Taxis are readily available at the airport, or we can help you arrange a pickup.

Best time to go

The prime sailing season in Grenada runs from December through May. During this period, you can expect reliably dry weather and steady trade winds. These conditions are perfect for both sail training and enjoying longer cruises, as the seas are generally settled and the storm risk is minimal.
